Next PTSA Meeting: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 (In Person and Zoom)
We desperately need Grad Nite volunteers, and traditionally those volunteers are Junior, Sophomore and Freshman parents. Grad Nite is one last chance for the graduating class to come together, have fun, and celebrate the years they've spent together, and we need your help to make Grad Nite 2026 unforgettable. If you’re the parent of a Junior, Sophomore, or Freshman, then we especially need your help on the night of the event. We have a long tradition at AHS of non-senior parents volunteering at Grad Nite, so please “pay it forward” and sign up to help, because most grads don't want their own parents chaperoning Grad Nite. Senior parents are welcome to volunteer too, and we would love your help!
Volunteering at Grad Nite is a TON OF FUN! Most volunteers report that this was the most fun they’ve ever had volunteering for a school event. There’s music, great free food and drinks, and an awesome loose vibe. Your duties are minimal - your job is mainly to be over 18, enjoy the food, and stay awake.
Please click this link, and sign up for as many shifts as you can. We especially need volunteers for the event itself - Check In, Screening, General Activity, Food.
Thank you!
Amy Miller, Meghan Thornton, & Joe Keiser

Thanks to everyone for a great 2024-2025 PTSA year. We handed out ice cream to students on the final day of testing to celebrate.
See you next year!

The Parent, Teacher, and Student Association for Alameda High School (AHS PTSA) provides financial and volunteer support and partners with AHS staff to help offer students a high-quality, enriching education. AHS PTSA is only able to do this through your active participation and generous donations.
99% of your donation goes directly to AHS and helps fund Link Crew, science equipment, field trips, staff education, student groups and activities, curriculum essentials, reading books, staff appreciation events, grad night, first aid kits, software, computers, and many, many other items requested by staff. This year, the PTSA is helping fund a full-time therapist to support student mental health.
Thank you for your support and generous donations!
The best way to support the AHS PTSA is through a direct donation. To support our students, teachers and staff according to our objectives this year, we'll need the equivalent of at least $100 from every person who joins the PTSA this year, or $82 more than simply our dues. Since not everyone can donate that much money, please thoughtfully consider what you can contribute, and if you'd be willing to pitch in for those who can't match our suggested amount. Alternatively, many employers match contributions made through their charitable programs. Look into seeing if your company has a matching program. You can make a difference in the Alameda High School experience not just for your child, but for everyone's children this year!
